I. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
We follow the principles of lawfulness, legitimacy, necessity, and good faith. When providing services such as account registration, login verification, content browsing, content publishing, interaction, transaction fulfillment, customer support, security protection, recommendation ranking, operation statistics, and product optimization, we may collect information you actively provide, information generated during your use of the services, and information obtained with your authorization. If you refuse to provide information necessary for a specific function, you may be unable to use that function, but this usually does not affect your use of other basic functions.
1.1 Account registration, login, and account verification. When you register, log in, recover your account, change your bound mobile number, perform security verification, or complete real-name verification, we may collect your mobile number, email address, verification code, login password, nickname, avatar, profile, and necessary identity verification information. If you use one-tap login, third-party account login, or other quick login methods, we may also process carrier-related information, third-party account identifiers, authorization results, or verification results related to the login process. With your authorization, a third-party platform may also provide us with your avatar, nickname, region, gender, and necessary friend relationship information on that platform so that you can log in directly and sync your basic profile. To help you complete registration and initial service setup, we may also collect gender, interests, age, or other preference information during registration; where such information is not required, you can usually skip it. If your mobile number cannot be used for login or verification because of suspension, recycling, reassignment, or similar reasons, or when you use account recovery or number change functions, we may provide the mobile number bound to the account, real-name information, current or historical mobile numbers used, your name, ID document number, and other necessary information to a telecommunications carrier or its authorized partner, and receive the verification result, in order to confirm that the action is initiated by you and to protect account security.
1.2 Public account profile and basic display. After registration, we may display your nickname, avatar, region, profile, and other information you choose to make public within the product. You may also fill in or modify your gender, birthday, region, school, occupation, interest tags, style information, or other profile information at your own discretion to improve your account profile and service experience. If you do not provide such optional information, your use of basic functions is usually not affected.
1.3 Content browsing, search, recommendation, and interaction. When you browse, search, click, stay on, like, favorite, share, comment, repost, follow, send private messages, join group chats, participate in live interactions, join activities, or use other community functions, we record relevant action information, time, frequency, target, content tags, conversation relationships, and necessary business states to provide content display, relationship interaction, message delivery, personalized recommendation, popularity ranking, anti-cheating detection, and product optimization. We may process your browsing history, follow relationships, click records, search requests, reading time, audio and video playback records, comment and interaction records, and profile information such as gender, age, and birthday that you actively provide, in order to show you more relevant content, services, and commercial information. In group chat scenarios, we process group information, member relationships, and group list information. In live-streaming scenarios, the nickname, avatar, comments, likes, gifts, online status, duration, and popularity rankings of streamers and viewers may be publicly displayed in the live room and synced to the streamer to maintain order. If you wish to adjust the intensity of personalized recommendations, disable commercial outreach, or reduce certain push categories, you may manage them through privacy, notification, recommendation, or marketing settings in the product. In some scenarios, even if you disable personalized recommendations, we may still display basic ranked content based on necessary business rules.
1.4 Content publishing, editing, storage, and translation. When you publish notes, images, videos, audio, live content, comments, or other interactive content, we process information you actively upload, edit, fill in, or publicly display, and store the relevant content, interaction records, and necessary metadata on servers to support publishing, display, transmission, review, complaint handling, deletion recovery, content safety, and troubleshooting. To improve upload speed and editing experience, we may temporarily cache images, videos, or preloaded photo information awaiting publication in some scenarios. Such preloads or caches are usually stored on your local device first and are not uploaded to our servers unless necessary. To enrich the publishing experience, we may also temporarily upload edited videos to our servers for acceleration before you formally publish them. If you exit the editing page, cancel publication, or otherwise fail to complete publication, we will promptly delete the corresponding temporary video, and you may disable such early upload capability through product settings. If you or other users use a translation function, we may provide only the content to be translated to the translation service provider, without providing usernames or other directly identifying information.
1.5 Location information, media location information, and sports-related functions. When you use location tagging for publishing, nearby content, map display, location stickers, nearby live display, shipping address entry, or other location-based services, we may, with your authorization, process your location information or, within the scope you allow, read location information embedded in your images or videos to support location display, location recommendations, content distribution, and business security control. If you enable nearby live display, we may show your live entry on nearby maps or related pages based on your location when you go live, while controlling the precision of the map display with privacy protection in mind. If you use running, cycling, sports stickers, or other exercise functions, we may, after obtaining separate consent, collect step count, calories, distance, altitude, moderate-to-vigorous activity, activity hours, activity goals, exercise type, workout details, and location details to support exercise records, sports sticker generation, or related displays. Refusing to provide such information only affects the corresponding sports function.
1.6 Album analysis, limited memories, and motion interaction. If you enable "Limited Memories" or similar auto-editing capabilities, we may temporarily analyze shooting time, location, scene, and other information within the authorized scope of your photo library to generate videos or memory content. We do not retain such analysis results beyond what is necessary to provide the function. If you participate in "Shake" or other motion-based interactive functions, we may use accelerometer, gyroscope, gravity, linear acceleration, step counting, gait detection, and similar sensors to identify your actions and trigger corresponding interactions. To adapt audio and video playback and display effects, we may also use accelerometer, gyroscope, and rotation-vector sensors to detect device orientation.
1.7 System permissions and use of sensitive information. With your authorization, we may call system permissions such as camera, photo library or storage, microphone, notifications, contacts, location, Bluetooth, calendar, overlay window, NFC, Face ID, fingerprint recognition, phone status, network status, clipboard, and various device sensors for scenarios including photo capture and upload, QR code scanning, voice input, live co-hosting, message reminders, friend recommendations, event reminders, nearby content display, map positioning, live location display, device adaptation, security verification, and risk control detection. Camera permission may be used for live shooting, content publishing, skin testing or virtual try-on, scanning, messaging capture, registration verification, or AR shooting. Storage permission may be used for verification uploads, content publishing, log caching, live content processing, skin testing or virtual try-on, private message and customer service image reading, shared screenshots, avatar settings, feedback, and scanning. Calendar and overlay permissions may be used for live or chat activity reminders and floating display. NFC may be used to open product pages by tap or read ID document information during real-name verification. Clipboard may be used to recognize codes, share tokens, links, and activity associations. Contacts, precise location, facial verification, ID document information, transaction information, shipping information, chat content, and audio or video content may constitute sensitive personal information. We process such data only to the extent necessary for a specific function and will provide separate notice where required. Refusing authorization usually does not affect other basic functions, but the corresponding function may become unavailable.
1.8 Friend discovery, Pro direct messages, wallet, and enhanced interaction. When you use contact-based friend recommendations, actively discover friends, or choose not to be recommended to people you may know, we process encrypted contact information and related recommendation settings based on your authorization. If you add friends by scanning codes, we may use the camera and light sensor to complete QR code recognition, determine fill light needs, and optimize scanning in low-light environments. If you are a professional account, business account, or similar operational account and choose to enable Pro direct messages, contact cards, quick menus, or similar capabilities, you may voluntarily provide your mobile number, WeChat ID, WeCom ID, DingTalk ID, or other contact details so that you can send contact cards to designated users or make them quickly viewable in conversations. If you use wallet, points, balance, or other virtual asset functions, we record recharges, balances, usage, and necessary transaction records so that you can review them and reduce asset-related risk.
1.9 Transactions, payment, logistics, customer support, and after-sales services. When you purchase goods or services, book activities, register, request refunds, returns, after-sales service, invoices, redeem benefits, or use wallet, memberships, coupons, points, or other transaction capabilities, we may collect order numbers, goods or service information, order time, transaction amount, payment method, payment status, third-party payment account identifiers, recipient name, contact number, shipping address, logistics information, invoice information, and customer service communication records. To facilitate form entry, address entry, or order information completion, we may also prefill information based on your previously provided name, mobile number, region, gender, and other profile data. If you choose to complete shipping information through your contacts, we will call contact permissions after obtaining your authorization. For cross-border transactions, certain qualification reviews, or scenarios where identity verification is required by law, we may further process your real name, ID document number, front and back photos of your ID document, or other legally required materials. When communicating with customer service, we may process account information, order information, images, videos, text materials, contact methods, online communication records, and call recordings you provide to prove facts, and may proactively contact you by phone, SMS, or in-app messages where necessary. For quality control and dispute handling, we may retrieve recordings as reference. Call recordings may be stored in third-party customer service systems subject to contractual restrictions, and we will not provide them to other parties except where lawfully required or upon a valid legal request.
1.10 Secure operation, anomaly detection, and risk-control verification. To ensure the stable operation of software and services, identify abnormal logins, prevent malicious registration, traffic manipulation, fraudulent transactions, content violations, interface abuse, and other risks, we may process device model, device name, SIM card or other carrier identifiers, hardware serial number, IMEI, IMSI, Android ID, IDFA, IDFV, OAID, MEID, operating system version, app version, network type, IP address, browser type, language settings, time zone, operation logs, crash logs, performance data, device identifiers, network environment information, base station information, network hardware addresses, WLAN access point information, necessary sensor information, background switching status, and verification records related to account security. To dynamically identify risks, we may read necessary device and runtime status information again when you switch the app to the background, restart the program, or trigger certain security scenarios, and we will keep the reading frequency within a reasonable range. We may also, in accordance with laws, regulations, and platform rules, display necessary information such as account origin, content status, award announcements, penalty notices, or risk alerts on a public basis, while applying de-identification or minimum-necessary treatment as far as possible.
1.11 Real-name verification, skin testing and virtual try-on, AI functions, and special business scenarios. In scenarios such as identity verification, account recovery, live-stream activation, merchandise collaboration, brand collaboration, settlement withdrawals, activity reward distribution, complaint appeals, and dispute handling, we may process your real name, ID document number, photos of your ID document, facial verification result, settlement account, tax information, professional or education information, income certification, or other information required by law as needed for the business. On supported devices, you may also use Face ID, fingerprint ID, SMS verification codes, or similar methods to complete local identity verification. We usually receive only the verification result and do not directly collect your original biometric templates. If you use skin testing, virtual try-on, AR shooting, or similar capabilities, we may, after obtaining separate consent, process camera, photo library, storage permissions, and necessary facial information, but we usually do not retain your facial feature templates after the service is completed. In scenarios such as contact cards, quick menus, or business contact display, you may also decide whether to provide your WeChat ID, WeCom ID, DingTalk ID, or mobile number for other users to contact you. If you use generative AI services such as Q&A assistants, AI image editing, intelligent generation, or conversational tools, we may process the text, images, voice, command content, click and edit records, and feedback that you actively input to generate responses, improve interactive experience, and improve model performance. Where input and output data are securely encrypted, strictly de-identified, and cannot be re-identified to a specific individual, such data may be used for model training and optimization. You may withdraw such authorization through the contact methods stated in this Policy. If the system identifies that your question is related to location, we may also process your location information after obtaining your authorization to improve answer accuracy.
1.12 Message notifications, widgets, personalized marketing, and legal bases. To support instant communication, message delivery, and service reminders, we may process notification permission status, device online status, push identifiers, foreground and background running status, boot broadcast permissions, phone status, reservation reminder information, and device identifiers generated by third-party push services for interactive notifications, private message reminders, community messages, customer support messages, transaction progress, live activity notices, and other reminders you subscribe to. If you add Chaino desktop widgets, cards, or system interactive features, we may use self-start capability, system broadcasts, or wake-up mechanisms to the extent necessary to ensure that you can receive information through those widgets. To display content, goods, and commercial information better aligned with your preferences, we may combine device information, application information, carrier information, browsing and usage information, purchase records, search and playback records, and device sensor information to extract preference features and generate indirect profile tags for recommendation, display, search ranking, and marketing outreach. If you do not wish to receive commercial advertising, you may unsubscribe through the SMS instructions, page settings, or the contact methods stated in this Policy. We explain the major uses of device permissions within the product, usually including microphone, Bluetooth, contacts, notifications, network, camera, calendar, overlay window, location, storage, phone status, Face ID, fingerprint recognition, motion and fitness, and NFC. You may disable them in system settings. You may also view the list of personal information we collect within the product. In addition to the above, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also process your personal information based on your consent, performance of our contractual obligations to you, fulfillment of legal obligations, response to public health emergencies, protection of natural persons' life, health, and property safety, news reporting and supervision for the public interest, and the processing of information that you have made public or that has already been lawfully disclosed. Statistical analysis results formed after de-identification or anonymization, where no specific individual can be identified, may be used for product research, operational analysis, and service improvement.
II. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties. Only within a lawful, proper, necessary, specific, and clear scope may we share necessary information with relevant recipients for purposes such as performance of a contract, your authorized consent, fulfillment of legal obligations, protection of the personal and property safety of you and other users, or maintenance of normal platform operations.
2.1 Sharing recipients and business scenarios. Where necessary, we may share the minimum information required to provide the corresponding function with cloud service providers, content storage providers, push notification providers, login authentication providers, payment service providers, logistics service providers, map location providers, analytics providers, advertising effectiveness evaluation partners, risk-control and security partners, real-name verification reviewers, customer support providers, content review providers, translation service providers, live-stream technology providers, merchants, activity organizers, third-party mini programs, or SDK providers. Specific scenarios may include sharing order and transaction-related information with merchants to complete fulfillment and after-sales service; sharing recipient and contact information with logistics providers as required for delivery; sharing de-identified device, network, click, browsing, display, and conversion information with advertising and analytics partners; sharing necessary information with content review, real-name verification, assessment tools, digital content service providers, or other feature providers to support the service; and sharing necessary data with the corresponding third party when you use third-party mini programs, third-party login, one-tap login, push notifications, payment, map location, cloud storage, live streaming, account security, or other SDK capabilities. Such third-party capabilities may generally include one-tap login, third-party account login, push notifications, location services, cloud storage, account security verification, payment services, and live-stream technology services. When the relevant functions run, those service providers may process necessary device information, network information, carrier information, location information, log information, push identifiers, or storage access information. We require recipients to process your personal information lawfully through agreements, assessments, minimized authorization, access control, and auditing mechanisms, and we maintain ongoing oversight and management of our partners.
2.2 Affiliates and business coordination. Subject to applicable law and this Policy, we may share necessary personal information among affiliates to support a unified account system, customer support, risk-control identification, transaction fulfillment, financial settlement, data analysis, and operational management. If an affiliate intends to change the purpose or method of processing personal information, we will obtain your authorization separately or satisfy another applicable lawful basis as required by law.
2.3 Activities, rewards, and merchant services. When you participate in platform activities, marketing campaigns, lucky draws, brand collaborations, product trials, merchant memberships, after-sales fulfillment, or logistics delivery, we may share your order information, shipping information, contact information, reward distribution information, bank account information, or necessary identity information with the relevant merchants, activity parties, logistics companies, or settlement service providers to the extent necessary for activity organization, reward issuance, membership binding, goods delivery, after-sales handling, and dispute resolution. Refusal to provide relevant information may result in your inability to participate in the corresponding activity or complete the relevant fulfillment process.
2.4 Transfer and public disclosure. If a merger, division, acquisition, asset transfer, bankruptcy liquidation, or similar transaction involves personal information transfer, we will require the recipient to remain bound by this Policy. If the recipient intends to change the purpose or method of processing, we will obtain your authorization separately in accordance with law. As a rule, we do not publicly disclose your personal information. Where public disclosure is necessary, we will fulfill the corresponding notification and protection obligations and, where possible, adopt de-identification or minimum-necessary treatment, for example when publishing winners lists, violation penalty notices, or security announcements and showing only necessary de-identified information.
2.5 Exceptional circumstances. Under applicable laws and regulations, we may share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information without obtaining your separate authorization where necessary for entering into or performing a contract to which you are a party, fulfilling legal obligations, responding to a public health emergency, protecting the life, health, or property safety of natural persons, conducting news reporting or supervision in the public interest, or processing information you have disclosed yourself or that has already been lawfully disclosed. If you voluntarily share your personal information or other content with a third party, any resulting information leakage, use, or other consequences will be determined by the recipient of that sharing and the applicable rules. Information that has been anonymized and cannot identify a specific individual is not personal information, and its use or transfer may no longer be subject to the restrictions on personal information under this Policy.
III. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information
3.1 Storage location and retention period. We generally store the personal information we collect within the territory of the People's Republic of China and retain it for the shortest period necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, unless otherwise required by law or separately authorized by you. After the retention period expires, we will delete the relevant information or anonymize it. For locally preloaded data, temporary caches, device-side analysis, and similar data generated only to improve user experience, we also control the retention period according to the minimum-necessary principle.
3.2 Cross-border scenarios and ongoing operations. If you actively engage in cross-border transactions, use overseas service capabilities, or where another circumstance is expressly permitted by law, we may, after completing the required legal procedures, provide necessary information to overseas recipients and ensure through contracts, assessments, or other measures that they provide a level of protection no lower than that required by this Policy. If we stop operating all or part of our services, we will promptly stop collecting personal information, notify you individually, through in-site notices, push notifications, announcements, or other reasonable means, and delete or anonymize the information we hold in accordance with law.
3.3 Security measures. We take reasonable and practicable security measures such as access control, identity authentication, least-privilege control, encrypted transmission, audit logging, security monitoring, data classification, de-sensitization, backup recovery, employee permission management, and partner security management to avoid unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or other security incidents involving personal information. The internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and you should also properly safeguard your account, password, verification codes, and other credentials.
3.4 Security incident response. If a personal information security incident occurs or may occur, we will promptly take remedial measures as required by law, assess its impact, and, where necessary, notify you by email, SMS, in-site message, announcement, push notification, or other reasonable means of the nature of the incident, possible impact, measures already taken or to be taken, and recommendations you may adopt to prevent or reduce risk. Where reporting to regulators is required by law, we will also fulfill those obligations.
IV. How You Manage Your Personal Information
4.1 Deciding what content you receive and how information is displayed. You may actively follow or unfollow other accounts based on your own needs and manage how you receive favorites, likes, recommendations, and notifications. We display corresponding content based on your follow and interaction choices, and you may adjust them at any time.
4.2 Access, correction, supplementation, deletion, and copies. Within the scope permitted by applicable law, you have the right to access, query, correct, supplement, and delete your personal information, and to obtain copies of your personal information. You can usually view and manage relevant information through in-product settings, profile editing pages, account and security pages, privacy settings, notification settings, order pages, or interaction history pages, such as managing your profile, bound information, comment and @ settings, blacklist, location information, friend recommendations, order and address information, notes, saved records, and like records. For information that cannot be handled online, you may also contact us through customer support, feedback channels, or the contact methods stated in this Policy. In addition to deleting information through the product interface, you also have the right to request deletion where the processing purpose has been achieved, cannot be achieved, or is no longer necessary, where we stop providing products or services, where the retention period has expired, where you withdraw consent, or where we process personal information unlawfully in violation of law.
4.3 Withdrawal of consent and permission management. You may manage, disable, or withdraw authorizations for camera, photo library, microphone, notifications, contacts, location, Bluetooth, calendar, overlay window, NFC, Face ID, fingerprint recognition, phone status, network, motion and fitness, and similar permissions through device system settings or relevant in-product functions. You may also adjust personalized recommendations, message notifications, privacy display, blacklist, media location information, limited memories, friend recommendations, default font access, Weibo or other third-party friend recommendations, and similar settings. After you withdraw authorization, we will no longer continue processing the information corresponding to that authorization, but processing that has already occurred based on your prior authorization is not affected. At the same time, the related function may no longer be available.
4.4 Data portability, automated decision-making, and rights of close relatives. Where the legal conditions are met, you have the right to request that your personal information be transferred to another platform, enterprise, or organization. For automated decisions that materially affect your rights and interests, you have the right to require us to provide an explanation and seek appropriate remedies. Where required by applicable law, your close relatives may also lawfully exercise rights such as access, copying, correction, and deletion of your relevant personal information, unless you have made other arrangements.
4.5 Account and identity verification. To protect account and information security, before handling requests for access, correction, deletion, export, transfer, or account closure, we may need to verify your identity and assess the legality, necessity, and feasibility of the request in light of the business scenario. For information generated after real-name verification, certain usage records, or other information that cannot be directly modified or deleted through the interface, you may contact us through the methods stated in this Policy. For information that must be retained by law, is necessary to fulfill legal obligations, or is necessary to resolve transaction disputes and protect platform security, we may not be able to immediately respond to all deletion requests, but we will handle them promptly once statutory conditions are met.
V. How You Close Your Account
You may apply to close your account through the account closure entry provided in Chaino. We will generally process your request within a reasonable period after verifying your identity and confirming that the closure conditions are met. Absent special circumstances, we will endeavor to complete processing within seven working days after receiving the request and completing identity verification. After account closure, except as otherwise provided by law, we will stop providing services to that account and delete or anonymize the personal information related to that account. You understand and agree that after closure, related content, order records, interaction records, message records, account rights and interests, and virtual assets are generally not recoverable to the extent permitted by law. If your account involves unfinished transactions, unfulfilled obligations, pending violation handling, or other situations where laws or regulations require us to suspend closure, we may not be able to accept your closure request immediately. During the violation handling period, the relevant registration information, changed bound information, or real-name verification information of the original account may be restricted from reuse.
VI. Special Notes on Third-Party Products and Services
Chaino may integrate third-party websites, SDKs, payment services, logistics services, push notification services, map and location services, mini programs, or other products and services. The relevant third parties may independently process your personal information under their own terms of service and privacy policies. Before you jump to a third-party page, use a third-party service, or provide information to a third party, you should carefully read its rules and decide prudently whether to accept them. This Policy applies only to personal information processed by us and does not apply to information independently processed by third parties. The relevant third party shall be responsible for its own processing activities. If you use third-party pages, third-party mini programs, or feature services provided by third parties within Chaino, those third parties may also call system permissions you have already authorized within the scope of their services, and you may decide whether to continue using them and withdraw the relevant authorization according to their rules.

VIII. Protection of Minors
We attach importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are a minor, please read and use Chaino with the guidance and consent of your guardian. Guardians should help minors correctly understand this Policy, prudently decide whether to submit personal information, and reasonably exercise information management rights. We will establish corresponding protection mechanisms, content classification, and usage restriction measures for minors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and may provide minor mode, usage duration management, content restrictions, or other age-appropriate protection features depending on product capability. If we discover that we have collected a minor's personal information without proper consent, we will delete the relevant data or take other appropriate measures as soon as required by law. If a guardian does not agree to the minor's continued use of the relevant services, the guardian may contact us through product functions, customer support, or the contact methods stated in this Policy. We may also separately publish more specific supporting rules or explanations regarding the protection of minors' personal information.
IX. Policy Updates
We may revise this Policy from time to time based on changes in laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, product updates, service adjustments, or operational needs. The updated Policy will be presented to you through page prompts, announcements, pop-ups, in-site messages, push notifications, or other reasonable means. If an update involves material changes, we will notify you more prominently. Without your explicit consent, we will not reduce the lawful rights you enjoy under the currently effective Policy. After the Policy is updated, if you continue to use Chaino services, you will be deemed to have read and accepted the updated content. If you do not agree, you should stop using the relevant services.
X. How to Contact Us

If consultation fails, the laws of the People's Republic of China shall apply, and the dispute shall be submitted to the competent people's court in the location of the Chaino operator. Where laws or regulations contain mandatory provisions, those provisions shall prevail.
